Mami is the founder of chi yu wellness centre. She specialises in the therapeutic use of Acupuncture, Aromatherapy, Craniosacral therapy, Holistic beauty therapy, massage therapy and Reflexology. She uniquely combines Eastern and Western holistic therapies to tailor the treatment to the needs of each individual and to assist the body’s self-healing ability.

While growing up in Japan, she received traditional Eastern therapies to great benefit. This is the root of her fascination with the philosophy of complementary therapies and today drives her determination to help others to benefit from the connection of body and mind.

Mami’s studies in complementary therapy began in 1998 at Raworth International College, culminating in a BSc (Hons) degree in Acupuncture from the University of Westminster. She is a member of British Acupuncture Council and Complementary therapists association.

Akiko is an experienced, fully qualified Aromatherapist, Massage Therapist and Reflexologist, as well as being a fully qualified practitioner of Craniosacral Therapy and Reiki.

Born in Japan, Akiko came to London and quickly developed her interest in complementary therapies and natural healing. Her first therapy training was in 2001 for an ITEC diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Body Massage and an IFA diploma in Aromatherapy. Soon after qualifying, she started to work as a full time Aromatherapist in a top centre in London, and was quickly promoted to Head Holistic Therapist, in charge of training other therapists.

Further indulging her passion for complementary therapies, she went on to study Reflexology, Craniosacral Therapy and Reiki. With her Japanese origins, her knowledge of traditional eastern therapies is well blended with a western approach of complementary therapies, making her treatment style totally unique.

Karen strongly believes that time, care, appropriate product use and a healthy lifestyle are all key factors in achieving and maintaining a beautiful and ever youthful skin and complexion.

An experience beauty therapist with a passion for skincare, Karen has taken numerous specialist courses and has worked for some of London’s premier health spas and centres, where she has gained extensive experience across different brands and products.

With over 10 years experience working in the beauty sector, her passion, pride and enthusiasm are strong. As an aesthetician, Karen considers the best treatments to achieve greatest effects for skin improvement requires a balanced and holistic approach. Being a beauty consultant, educating and recommending appropriate beauty and skincare advice and products to clients is a key goal in each of her assignments.

Noriko has many years experience as an instructor of Aromatherapy as well as Dr. Bach Flower Remedies in Tokyo. Her healing technique starts with her expert client consultation to assess the best holistic approach. Then, she puts all the years of massage experience into improving the vitality and wellbeing of her clients through her healing hands as she strives to enhance the balance of Body, Mind and Spirit.

Noriko is originally from Japan and is fully qualified in Aromatherapy (IFA) and Reflexology (ITEC & AOR). She pursued her interest in natural therapies, and graduated successfully from the prestigious Raworth International College.

Atsuko ’s treatments are well balanced between a clinical and holistic approach, and her warm care and power of touch are a welcome relief to the stresses and complaints of daily life which can affect us all. Highly skilled in pregnancy treatments, including prenatal and postnatal therapies, Atsuko is also qualified and trained to teach baby massage.

Atsuko is originally from Japan where she trained and practised primarily as a nurse and then as a midwife for over six years.  Through these clinical experiences she began to see the dynamics of the body system and its natural ability to be healthy and recover from physical and mental strains.

Her interest in complementary therapies grew out of a desire to help the body remain in good condition to optimise health and well-being before the intervention of medication is required. Proficient in several aspects of complementary therapies she trained in England and successfully qualified in treating clients in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Swedish and Holistic massage before travelling to Thailand in order to add Thai Yoga Massage and Thai Herbal Hot Compress to her range of techniques.

After spending ten years in the fashion industry, seeing first hand the intensely stressful, unhealthy lifestyle that it entailed, Sanae felt compelled to find a balance between work, health and creativity. She began her journey into complementary medicine in 2003 and has studied the holistic connection between mind, body and spirit with particular interest in the intelligence of the body and the power of the mind to affect healing.

Sanae has studied various Complementary Therapies that combine both Eastern and Western techniques including bio-mechanical Craniosacral Therapy at College of Cranio Sacral Therapy. This has enabled her to expand her field of perception and her ability to use her knowledge.

Using this Bio-Dynamic approach, she helps clients expand both the ‘mechanical’ and ‘dynamic’ ways to find balance, health and stillness within.

Sanae studied with Sarah Nesling at Craniosacral Therapy Education Trust where she worked with pregnant women, mothers and babies and became fascinated about the effects of prenatal and birth experiences in our lives. Having incorporated this understanding into her work along side her other practises, she has set up our Mother and Baby Clinic.

Jo was introduced to the Tao and Feng Shui as a child. Spending time in China and the Far East led her to study with famous Feng Shui masters including Master Raymond Lo and Lillian Too. Author of 'Feng Shui Flowers', 'The Feng Shui Box' and 'Feng Sui' - all of which have worldwide circulation, Jo gives consultations on Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology to individuals and businesses worldwide.
