Mami is an experienced, multi-disciplined therapist specialising in the therapeutic use of Acupuncture, Aromatherapy, Craniosacral therapy, Holistic beauty therapy, massage therapy and Reflexology. She is the founder of chi yu wellness centre

She is originally from Japan, where she received traditional complementary medicine such as acupuncture and massage during her childhood and found these therapies to be of great benefit. Mami became fascinated by the philosophy of complementary medicine and decided to pursue a profession as a therapist so that she could help others to benefit from the connection of body and mind

Mami began studying complementary medicine in 1998. She initially trained in clinical & holistic Aromatherapy, Swedish massage, holistic massage, dietary advisor, holistic beauty therapy, Reflexology and remedial massage at Raworth International College.  To further enhance these qualifications she added acupressure & meridian massage, advanced clinical aromatherapy, craniosacral therapy, deep tissue massage, La Stone therapy, no-hands massage, Thai yoga massage, Tui na massage and Thai hot compress massage

Graduating in 2007 with a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture from the University of Westminster, rounds off her breadth of skills to date. During her training, she practiced acupuncture at the University of Westminster’s polyclinic, the NHS Gateway clinic at Lambeth hospital

Mami’s treatment approach is bespoke as she integrates all her skills and clinical experiences to tailor the most appropriate treatment for the individual needs of each client. Through a unique and holistic approach, her aim is to encourage the body’s self-healing process, optimising the client’s physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing

She has experience treating a range of conditions including: musculo-skeletal conditions  digestive problems, emotional stresses, gynaecological problems, headaches and migranes.  Of particular professional interest is treating pains, stress related symptoms, psychological conditions and women's health. She is also interested in beauty therapy with natural and holistic approaches

She has attented specialised courses including 'acupressure facial massage', ‘infertility, gynaecology and aromatherapy’, 'introduction to Shiatsu', ‘massage for pregnancy‘, ‘Somato-emotional release’, 'ear acupuncture', 'facial rejuvenation acupuncture' 'aromatherapy and the Five Elements' and 'aromadermatology'. Mami continues to develop her skills and update her knowledge in complementary medicine

Akiko Ikariya MCThA, MIFA

Akiko is an experienced, fully qualified Aromatherapist, Massage Therapist and Reflexologist, as well as being a fully qualified practitioner of Craniosacral Therapy and Reiki

Born in Japan, Akiko came to London and quickly developed her interest in complementary therapies and natural healing. Her first therapy training was in 2001 for an ITEC diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Body Massage and an IFA diploma in Aromatherapy. Soon after qualifying, she started to work as a full time Aromatherapist in London, and was quickly promoted to Head Holistic Therapist and began training other therapists

Further indulging her passion for all complementary therapies, she went on to study Reflexology, Craniosacral Therapy and Reiki, and has recently even found the time to study more therapies!

With her Japanese origin, her knowledge of traditional eastern therapies is well blended with a western approach of complementary therapies, making her treatment style totally unique

Karen Tang CIDESCO, BABTAC

Karen strongly believes in achieving and maintaining a beautiful and ever youthful skin, complexion and healthiness. She considers time, care, appropriate product use and a healthy lifestyle are all key factors

She has a keen interest in skincare and continuously strives to look after not just her own her skin but also that of her clients. She believes the inner happiness once attained should be used to benefit all

Her interest grew and became more passionate when she decided to enter the skincare and health profession. Since taking intensive courses to study beauty therapy in London and starting full time employment in some of London's premier health spas and centres, she has grown into an all-round equipped beauty therapist, gaining extensive experience brands, products and client relationships

Not limited to working experience, Karen pursues her interest in this field through books, industry events and short courses so that she can expand her knowledge and learning curve

With over 10 years experience in the beauty world and having worked for top spas in London, her passion, pride and enthusiasm are strong and growing

As an aesthetician, she considers the best treatments to achieve greatest effects for skin improvement requires a balanced and holistic approach

Being a beauty consultant, educating and recommending appropriate beauty and skincare advice and products to clients is a key goal in each of her assignments

Noriko Flanagan ITEC, MIFA, AOR

Noriko is originally from Japan and is fully qualified in Aromatherapy (IFA) and Reflexology (ITEC & AOR). Since first arriving to study Art History in England in 1995, she has pursued an interest in natural therapies

As a successful graduate from the prestigious Raworth International College, Noriko has studied and expanded her horizons in several kinds of natural therapy

She has had five years experience as an instructor of Aromatherapy as well as Dr. Bach Flower Remedies in Tokyo

Her healing technique starts with her expert client consultation to assess the best holistic approach. Then, she puts all the years of massage experience into improving the vitality and wellbeing of her clients through her healing hands as she strives to enhance the balance of Body, Mind and Spirit

For Aromatherapy, Noriko knows that there is an art to blending essential oils for the particular needs of individual clients

Similarly, her knowledge of Reflexology brings about an exceptional level of client satisfaction. As many of her clients have said how relieved and relaxed they have felt after a session

Atsuko Campbell ITEC,  MIFPA

Atsuko is originally from Japan where she trained and practised primarily as a nurse then as a midwife for nearly seven years.  Through these clinical experiences she began to see the dynamics of the body system and its natural ability to be healthy and recover from physical and mental strains

Her interest in complementary therapies grew out of a desire to help the body remain in good condition to optimise health and well-being before the intervention of medication is required

Proficient in several aspects of complementary therapies she trained in England and successfully qualified in treating clients in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Swedish and Holistic massage before travelling to Thailand in order to add Thai Yoga Massage and Thai Herbal Hot Compress to her range of techniques

Not only skilled at  treating pregnant women include prenatal and postnatal, her treatments are well balanced to include both a clinical and holistic approach, and her warm care and power of touch are sure to be a welcome relief  to the stresses and complaints of daily life which can affect  us all

Atsuko is also qualified and trained to teach baby massage

Sanae started her Journey in complementary health in 2003. Ten years working in the fashion industry prompted this; she felt it was an unhealthy lifestyle due to the high levels of stress within the workplace. Due to this unsatisfactory environment, Sanae felt that something had to be done to ease work tension and pressure for city and office workers.

Apart from this Sanae has also practiced yoga as a form of de-stressing which enhanced her understanding of the connection between the body's mental and physical state. This also began her awareness for the urgent need for a more holistic approach to life. Yoga allowed her to acquire a greater understanding of the body's energy systems and mechanical workings. Currently, she also practices rolfing-movement and meditation, which allows her mind and body to be more inter-connected which also raises her spiritual awareness.

She is an intuitive talent that possesses a wide range of understanding in relation to the mental, spiritual and psychical aspects for the well being of her clients. Due to her diverse experience and training she is able to combine her skills to design tailor-made treatments to suit the needs of the individual
